Texas Folklife will present the 31st anniversary edition of Accordion Kings & Queens, featuring CJ Chenier & the Red Hot Louisiana Band. This year’s virtual concert offers the best of Texas accordion music genres, including Conjunto, Zydeco, Cajun, Polka, and more.

Son of the “King of Zydeco” Clifton Chenier, CJ has carried on the legacy of the bayou beats, elements of funk, blues, and ballads sounds heard throughout traditional Zydeco.
