The directors of planning for the six largest cities in Texas will converge for a workshop to converse about plans, policies and projects currently underway in Austin, Dallas, El Paso, Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio that will shape the livability, resiliency and competitiveness of these cities and the region's future.
"The Texas Big Six 2040 Workshop - Conversations about our Future," hosted by the Houston Section of the Texas Chapter of the American Planning Association, will explore and discuss how cities can deal with the needs of a growing population, changing demographics and environmental challenges in order to compete statewide, regionally, nationally and globally and mature into 21st century metropolises that are livable, healthy and desirable worldclass places for residents, businesses and visitors.
