Houston's innovative genius converges for a day dedicated to "ideas worth spreading" at the University of Houston's Wortham Theatre. Similar to the popular conference TED (but definitely a separate organization), the TEDx fest will include speeches from experts, professionals and creative individuals who've made new discoveries or approach problems in unique ways. The day-long event incorporates discussion in small groups to spark curiosity and delve a little deeper into the issues at hand. Speakers include Chris Seay, Michael Skelly, Kurt Podeszwa and Roberta B. Ness. A complete list can be found here.
