Taiwanese dance troupes, music and food are just some of the many activities families will enjoy as the Houston Asian Jaycee Foundation hosts the city’s first Taiwan ROC 100 Festival, a centennial celebration honoring the establishment of the Republic of China (ROC), from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The festival grounds will stretch across 10 acres and feature a variety of authentic, multicultural fare from local restaurants, live entertainment, pop concerts and traditional martial arts demonstrations. Attendees also will find a special play area for children of all ages filled with moonwalks, crafts and other fun activities.
