This dance contest is the kick off for the Houston Area Urban League Guild's Masked Ball. Tickets for the 15th Annual Masked Ball, a Mardi Gras themed event hosted by HAUL Guild every year, will be available at this event.
The Jack and Jill dance contest will feature Swing Out and Two Step dance with two levels of competition: Beginner and open. The beginner level is for those who have one-and-a-half years experience in the dance styles. The open level is for the more experienced dancer. People who are not dance contestants will have opportunities to dance between the competition segments. Cash Prizes will be awarded to the winners in the Open Dance.
