"Swing for the Arts" in a golf tournament that benefits the performing arts programs at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. for the 18-hole course with two options for tournament play: "The Pavilion Cup Challenge" or "Performing Arts Challenge." The former is for companies and the latter, individuals or groups of four. The tournament itself has a shotgun start at noon.
New to this year's tournament is a golf clinic by Golf Channel's John Mahaffey at 11:15 a.m. The workshop is free for all players.
