The 29th Annual Komen Houston Race for the Cure® serves as a powerful vehicle to spread the lifesaving message of early detection and raise funds to help end breast cancer. The majority of the funds raised will help fund breast health screening, treatment and education in the Greater Houston area. The remaining funds go towards the Komen Research, Evaluation and Scientific Program, which funds groundbreaking breast cancer research.
Breast cancer patients, those living with metastatic breast cancer, survivors, family members, supporters of the cause and all Houstonians are invited to come together for a 5K or 1K, followed by a morning of festivities, all while taking action in the fight against breast cancer.
