"Surls on Kirby" Dedication Ceremony

The Upper Kirby District Foundation will dedicate "Surls on Kirby" as part of its Public Arts Initiative. Tree and Three Flowers is a steel and bronze sculpture created by world-renowned Texas artist James Surls for Houston's Upper Kirby District. The piece will be located at the intersection of Kirby Drive and Westheimer Road, where 50,000 cars a day pass by.

Guests of the dedication ceremony include Mayor Annise Parker, Council Member Ellen Cohen and Surls.
