Direct from the 2014 Sundance Film Festival in Utah, Cold in July will be screened as part of the Sundance Film Festival USA. Houston is one of nine cities selected to show a top film from the prestigious festival. Starring Michael C. Hall, Don Johnson and Sam Shepard, it's the story of how a small town Texas man's life unravels into a dark underworld of corruption and violence after he kills a home intruder.
Following the screening, CultureMap editor-in-chief Clifford Pugh will interview director/co-writer Jim Mickle and take questions from the audience.
