Fashion Week kicks off the evening of Thursday, Sept. 9 with a runway fashion show on the City Walk.

Throughout the week stores will host free activities including trunk shows, design competitions, personal fitting consultations and yoga classes. On Thursday, Sept. 16, jazz musician Joe Carmouche will play on the Plaza. Visitors may also get "passports" stamped at area retailers for a chance to win prizes.

Proceeds from the opening runway show (general admission tickets are $15, VIP tickets are $75) are available online and will benefit the Fort Bend Women's Center. Visitors throughout the week are encouraged to bring second-hand clothing for donation to the Women's Center, as well.
