Strictly Street Salsa hosts "El Festival de la Salsa"

"El Festival de la Salsa" is the closing event of the citywide Hispanic Heritage Month celebration. This cultural party features more than 25 musicians in one evening of music, dance and culture, under direction of the festival's music director, Jorge Orta "Cro Cro."

Guests will enjoy performances by international group El Legado de la Salsa Venezolana (The Venezuelan Salsa Legacy), which has more than 16 Grammys among its members. Representing the Caribbean and the U.S. is the sensuous voice of salsa artist Luisito Rosario. From Texas, the talented Bamuayá, a 12-member band led by Reinaldo Araujo, will perform.
