If Anton Chekov knew the power of improvisation of wasted time writing multiple characters into his plays, then he would be the improv troupe Magical Lying Hour. This Infinite Closet puts the saddle of an adventurer on the back of a horse called surrealism as this troupe composed of staff and graduates of Station Theater takes the audience for a ride. Performing in the dark, TIC uses nothing but the sounds of their voices, hands and feet to paint stunning landscapes on the minds of their listeners, creating world after world of wonder. Founded in April 2012, Silverbacks Improv Theatre has provided improvised entertainment to Lafayette, Louisiana, and the surrounding areas through theatrical performances and workshops. Silverbacks consists of members who have trained and performed in places as far as Mississippi, Texas, Washington D.C., Chicago and Los Angeles, with a combined total of more than 50 years of improv experience.
