The New Zealand String Quartet clearly demonstrates what it means to be a chamber musician. In a string quartet, four voices react as one with instant hand-offs and pairings, each entrance enhancing the next. James Dunham will play the viola and will be the lead musician in this concert.

Selections will include Mozart’s “Quintet in G minor, K. 516”; New Zealand composer Gareth Farr’s “Te Tai O Rehua (The Tasman Sea)”; and Dvorak’s “Sextet in A, Op. 48.”

The New Zealand String Quartet appears by arrangement with Jonathan Wentworth Assoc. Ltd.
