Space Center Houston debuts a new family-friendly, Halloween experience, Galaxy Frights, presented by Reliant. The event will include a costume parade around the new SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, special guest speakers like NASA astronauts, the premiere of a new space film; and weird science activities.

In addition to the center’s new seasonal exhibits, NASA’s spider-like robot, Spidernaut, will be on display. Developed at NASA Johnson Space Center, this prototype forms the basis for a series of new arachnid class Extra-Vehicular Robotics (EVR) robots being used to further space exploration.

Parade times are at 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm. Social distancing measures and face masks for guests ages two and older are required. Costume masks are not permitted, and costumes must be family friendly.
