People across Houston are invited to take part in the Arts, Wellness and Environment Celebration (AWE Celebration). The family friendly event will kick-off a day of community activities and entertainment starting with the grand re-opening of the Park at Palm Center and its new community garden. After the opening ceremony, theme related activities like bike tours, health and wellness screenings and arts and crafts will spread across two additional parks, MacGregor Park and George T. Nelson Park.
Free shuttle service between all parks will be provided to guests.
