The tables are being moved to make way for thrill-seekers who want to "do the Watusi" into 2014 at MKT BAR's NYE Soul Celebration. Partygoers who slide into the soiree will be greeted with the melodic doo-wop sounds of Mad Maude and the Hatters as well as '60s soul, pop and rock 45s spun by DJ Tempty.
MKT BAR bites and a champagne toast will be in store in addition to a dance contest starting promptly at 11 p.m. The dancer with the best moves will win a $500 Phoenicia giftcard.
