Sojourn Studio Residency presents its first Sojourn Studio Artist Exhibition featuring the work of emerging Texas artists Stephanie Darling, Juan Aaron Castillo and Christina Macal. The opening will also feature music by jazz musician Charlie.

 Darling received her a BFA from New Mexico State University in 2009 and since then has been working on a diverse series of works, including two murals, one at the historic Heights Theater and one at Vietnam Restaurant in the Heights. Aaron received his BFA and MFA from Houston Baptist University and has shown at galleries around the United States and Internationally. Macal received her BFA from University of Texas in 2012. She has shown work around Texas and the United States and currently works for the MFAH at the Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens.
