Even to the general public, the Tchaikocsky Competition rings loudly with history and tradition of virtuosity and artistry. For the last half century, this famed competition held every four years has accurately anointed many of the greatest classical musicians and its brightest stars.
Itamar Zorman's list of credits at such a young age is enough to stop any classical music aficionado in his/her tracks. The Israeli-born and Juilliard trained violinist presents a program of great breadth and depth including Messiaen's Theme and Variations, Schumann's Violin Sonata No. 1 in A minor, Op. 103, Schubert's Rondo Brilliant in B minor and Saint-Saens Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, Op. 28.
