American rockers Huey Lewis and The News have been performing their contagious brand of rock n' roll for more than 30 years, outlasting countless trends and selling more than 20 million albums in the process. They have carried the banner as the quintessential American rock band, endearing them to millions of fans worldwide.

Their greatest success was in the 1980s with the number-one album Sports, coupled with a series of highly successful MTV videos. Their worldwide fame expanded when the song “The Power of Love” was featured as a key track in the film Back to the Future and was nominated for an Academy Award. As great a recording career as the band has had, it’s their live performances that remain the stuff of legend.
