Society for the Performing Arts will welcome three-time Golden Globe Award winner Laura Dern as this year’s guest speaker at SPA’s 19th Annual Fall Luncheon. Dern has proven to be one of the great actresses of her generation showing that she is capable of great depth and range, touching audiences and critics alike with her moving and heartfelt performances. From the lectern, Dern will speak on how her life experiences have propelled her to become an advocate for women’s empowerment, gender equality and balancing the delicate scales of work, life and family. 

Proceeds from the 2015 SPA Luncheon will enable SPA to sustain its mission of Bringing the World’s Best to Houston. SPA is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of cultural agents and patrons through its work with children across Houston’s diversified communities.
