Getting their fans pumped up for their 2011 album release, Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes, Social Distortion makes a Houston stop.

Social Distortion was formed in late 1978 by frontman Mike Ness, inspired by British punk bands and also by older acts such as The Rolling Stones. The band's, "Reach for the Sky", became a hit in the fall of 2004. Prior to the single's release, longtime bassist John Maurer, who had remained with the band for 20 years, decided to left Social Distortion and was later replaced by their current bassist Brent Harding.
