The Word Around Town (WAT) tour is an annual week-long poetry marathon that takes place at a different venue each night. The line-up consists of 19 of Houston’s top poets and promises to bring diversity and excitement while showcasing local venues.
Artists include Blanca Alanis, R.T. Castleberry, Ken Jones, Joe B, Dee!colonize, Maria Palacios, Brother Said, Chris Wise, Marlon Lizama, Marie Brown, Kathy Fay, Kool B, Jessie Noel, The Fluent One, Teresa Juarez, Outspoken Bean, Jasminne Mendez, Stephen Gros and Lupe Mendez with Meta-Four Youth Slam Team as guest performers.
