Grammy-award winning country legend Steve Wariner will headline the entertainment lineup and new festivities, such as the car show and VIP tent for the Saturday night concerts, will draw more than 10,000 attendees.
Sealybration kicks off July 10 at 6 p.m. with family fun at the Kidzone carnival, which is open through Saturday night.
The gates open at 6 p.m. July 11 for an evening that includes food, retail vendors, the bean bag tournament, barbecye cook off and softball tournament. The 5 Alarm 5K and 1K Rookie fun runs, which are held Friday night, benefit the Sealy Volunteer Fire Department. At 8 p.m. the musical entertainment gets started when The Triumphs hit the stage.
The gates open at 7 a.m. July 12 for all day fun at the Kidzone carnival and the tractor show, new car show, chicken bingo and softball tournament. Musical entertainment starts at 5 p.m. with Fred Rusk and the Zydeco Hi-Steppers. Local up-and-coming Texas music artists, The Washers, take the stage next with Steve Wariner up at 11:30 p.m. A fireworks show will light up the night sky at 9:15 p.m.
A new feature this year is Saturday night's VIP tent, where for $60 attendees will enjoy red carpet treatment, including reserved parking close to the venue, seats in a private tent in front of the stage, a catered meal, five free beer tokens, private restrooms and an unrestricted view of the fireworks. VIP ticket holders will be entered in a drawing to attend a meet-and-greet with country legend Steve Wariner.
