Pink Ribbons Project, in collaboration with St. Thomas High School Rugby Association, will join forces for the sixth annual Rugby-for-a-Cause, an event to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer. This year, the St. Thomas Varsity Rugby team will play Dallas Jesuit, their oldest rival, in the annual Lady Hagar Cup.

The event will begin with the VIP Tent Tailgate followed by the rugby game at 7 p.m. on Hotze Field on the St. Thomas High School campus. Immediately following the game is the "Pink Picnic on the Pitch" consisting of dinner, drinks and a silent/dessert auction.

Since the first game in February 2008, the event has raised more than $60,000. These funds allowed Pink Ribbons Project to continue its mission of promoting breast health, saving lives and improving the quality of life for those touched by breast cancer.
