The little black dress is a fashion icon, and the region's top fashion design students are proving they have what it takes to reinvent it. The Little Black Dress Designer, one of Texas' largest fashion design competitions, narrowed down its 2014 Houston submissions to the top 10 designs.
The top 10 Houston designers include: Daniel Amaya, The Art Institute of Houston; Natthakan Chomphuwiset, Houston Community College; Claire Ferran, Houston Community College; Andrea Giralt-Brun, Houston Community College; Joubaier Joubert, Houston Community College; Judi Hallenbeck, Houston Community College; Phuong Thao Le, The Art Institute of Houston; Jeannie Ly, University of Houston; Gabby Ong, Houston Community College; and Diana Perkins, Houston Community College.
