The Shepherd Society is hosting its "Spirit of the Season" event December 5 to raise funds for scholarships at Rice University's Shepherd School of Music. Expect champagne, festive brass and a concert of arias, famous opera ensembles, and holiday music in Duncan Recital Hall, followed by an elegant seated dinner in the Grand Foyer.
