Shepherd School Crumhorn Collective Concert Event: "Renaissance Music, Medieval Weapons and Costumes"


The Shepherd School Crumhorn Collective musical ensemble will delight the audience with a musical performance of Renaissance wind music and an introduction of the unique musical instruments used during medieval times. The Barony of The Stargate, the local chapter of the Society of Creative Anachronism (SCA) will be on-site with examples of utensils, clothing and weapons used in Shakespearean works. Cookies and punch will be provided.

The event is in conjuction with the exhibit And there's the humor of it — Shakespeare and the four humors, on display at the Texas Medical Center (TMC) Library until March 23. This traveling exhibition was developed and produced by the Exhibition Program at the National Library of Medicine and the Folger Shakespeare Library.
