The Shell Houston Open is a yearly spring golf tournament at Redstone Golf Club that supports local children's charities. Since 1992, Shell has been the title sponsor.

New this year is the SHO Club 16, a covered skybox near the par-3 16th green with comfortable seating, tables, big screen televisions, food and beverage service. 

Monday, March 28 - Monday Pro-Am
Noon shotgun start Pro-Am at Redstone Golf Club Tournament Course

Tuesday, March 29 - Practice Day
Professional practice rounds all day. Junior Golf Skills Competiton, 4:30 p.m. on The First Tee of Greater Houston/Redstone Par-3 Course. 

Wednesday, March 30 - Grand Pro-Am Day
Morning Grand Pro-Am competition on the Redstone Tournament Course, No. 1 and No. 10 tees,  7 - 9 a.m. Awards luncheon in the Redstone Golf Club Clubhouse, following play. Afternoon Grand Pro-Am competition on the Tournament Course, No. 1 and No. 10 tees, from approximately 12 - 2 p.m. Awards reception in the Redstone Golf Club Clubhouse, following play. 

Thursday, March 31 - First Round
144 golfers commence play for $5.9 million. Tee times off No.1 and No.10 tees of the Redstone Tournament Course from approximately 7 - 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.- 1:20 p.m.

Friday, April 1 - Second Round
Tee times off No.1 and No.10 tees of the Redstone Tournament Course from approximately 7 - 8:50 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. - 1:20 p.m. After completion of 36 holes, field will be trimmed to low 70 scores and ties for final rounds. 

Saturday, April 2 - Third Round and Saturday Pro-Am
Tee times from 8:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. off No.1 tee only of the Redstone Tournament Course. 

Sunday, April 3 - Championship Round
Approximate tee times from 8:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. off No.1 tee only of the Redstone Tournament Course.
