eventdetail

The goal of Kids to Parks Day is to show kids that life is better outside. This event will include a guided hike, fishing 101, face painting, a reptile relay race, educational activities, a photo booth, and more.

Sheldon Lake State Park in itself features hiking trails, an 82-foot observation tower with views of the downtown skyline and the San Jacinto Monument, 28 ponds (including two catch-and-release fishing ponds), a lake for fishing and boating, and restored coastal prairie and wetlands. Kids will love exploring our park and seeing all that nature has to offer.
