She Works Flexible presents Dean Sameshima: Public Sex opening reception

eventdetail

Nearly 20 years ago, Dean Sameshima began photographing historically active gay cruising grounds in and around Los Angeles - hidden corners of Griffith Park, scratchy erotic drawings on the stalls of public restrooms, and exteriors of recently closed bathhouses and leather bars. Curated by Core critic-in-residence Andy Campbell, Dean Sameshima: Public Sex gathers together these and other emblematic works from across the artist’s career for the first time in Houston.

Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through June 3.
