The 37th Annual Ruth K. Shartle Symposium addresses issues raised by WAR/PHOTOGRAPHY: Images of Armed Conflict and Its Aftermath. Six photographers lead three panel discussions moderated by the exhibition co-curators Anne Wilkes Tucker, Will Michels, and Natalie Zelt.
Panel discussions include: "War-Related Photography for Newspapers vs. Magazines" with Carolyn Cole and Jonathan Torgovnik, "Postwar Long-term Humanitarian Projects" with Jim Goldberg and Susan Meiselas and "Combat Photography" with Don McCullin and James Nachtwey.
