Organizers claim that this year's Summertime Blues Festival will be bigger, badder and better than ever. An ambitious line-up of bands will fill Freeport with Americana-style music, ideal for a labor day weekend retreat. Music groups include Los Lonely Boys, The Fabulous Thunderbirds featuring Kim Wilson, Wes Jeans, The Mighty Orq, Dan Lawson Band, Mean Gene Kelton Tribute, Dean Seltzer Band, the Blues Brothers Tribute Band and others.

Scheduled events also include a car show, IMBBA-sanctioned bike show, Bronco Billy's bull riding, dessert contest and charity auction, Hard C.O.I.R. Burnout Contest, Tattoo Contest, Glitz Dolls' Biker Babe Contest with Playboy model Sheena Lee as emcee, All Around Amusements' Kids Zone, Road Gamers Teen Zone, Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Raffle, SPCA Dog Show & Costume Contest, Bike Games with Blowout, Sprint Triathlon, Parade and bike stunts.
