This film explores the life of a Chinese girl from Guangzhou being raised by a Long Island Jewish family.

Sui Yong, an eight-year-old disabled Chinese girl, is being raised by a Chinese foster family with whom she has formed strong bonds. The family is reluctant to give her up but realizes that life in America will afford her better opportunities for an improved life. I Love You Mommy won Best U.S. Feature at the 2010 Silverdocs Film Festival.
