Costumed canines, along with their human companions, will hit the streets for a one-mile walk followed by a spirited costume contest and expo. The event will raise money to help the shelter animals at Citizens for Animal Protection. The first 200 participants will receive complimentary goody bags, a commemorative T-shirt and a free night of overnight lodging at Rover Oaks.
The fun begins with registration and refreshments, leading up to the one-mile walk that kicks off at 9 a.m. The festivities continue throughout the morning in Central Green with pet-focused vendors and information booths. Vendors participating in the expo include Natural Pawz, Poop Security, Rover Oaks Pet Resort, Invisible Fence and many more.
Adoptable animals from Houston-area rescue organizations will be in attendance and ready to meet their new forever families.
