Join The Rose for a Kentucky Derby themed Pinknic benefiting The Rose. Patti Cooksey, the first woman to ride in the Preakness, will be the featured guest, sharing about her own battle with breast cancer and history as a horse racing jockey and pioneer. Attendees to the Pinknic have the opportunity to meet and take photos with Cooksey while celebrating the tenacity and dedication of famed jockeys and women everywhere. Throughout the afternoon, live music, a silent auction, a bake sale and local fashions will also be featured.
