This collection of short films by Maya Deren, America's first prominent avant-garde female filmmaker, will illuminate rarely seen works that became an inspiration to succeeding generations of artists. The screening is presented through a special collaboration with Sally Berger, assistant curator in the Department of Film at The Museum of Modern Art. Berger will lead a Q&A session following the films.
