Bring the whole family out for a day of fun in Houston's newest and most colorful green space, Smither Park. Celebrate as the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art unveils the Lindley Fish Amphitheater, designed and embellished by artist Matt Gifford. Come see artists in action as they create elaborate mosaics on the Smither Park Memory Wall.

Enjoy family-friendly entertainment in the Marilyn Oshman Meditation Garden from Loreta Kovacic and The Alechemist Piano Theatre and see the Houston Art League African Beaders create their beautiful works of art under the Vinson and Elkins Pavilion. The Orange Show Monument, located next door, will be open at the same time.

John Daugherty Realtors is coordinating a collection of materials for artists' use in Smither Park including glass bottles, glass beads, glass tiles, other glass pieces, ceramic tiles, broken ceramic vases, broken dishes, broken china, metal forks, spoons, whisks, sea shells and other items that are durable and can withstand the elements.

Food trucks will be onsite.
