McMurtrey Gallery
Sarah William's moody, distinctly Midwestern landscapes take center stage with her first solo show at McMurtrey Gallery, "Population 4,769."
Her paintings capture stark images of lonely structures at night, viewed from afar, as through a figure hiding in the darkness. Her snow images are ironically warmer in mood, with the same sense of stillness.
The exhibition runs between Jan. 16 and Feb. 13, with an opening reception on Jan. 16 from 6-8 p.m.
