The 2nd annual A New Start Luncheon benefiting Santa Maria Hostel will feature special guest speaker Leisa Holland-Nelson. This event will celebrate the many families whose lives have been transformed as a result of the treatment and supportive services they receive at Santa Maria Hostel, along with the people who support Santa Maria Hostel every day.

This event will honor newly elected Sheriff Ed Gonzalez for his steadfast commitment to addressing mental health, trauma and addiction issues within the public safety arena, including his role in developing Houston’s Sobering Center and his initiatives to combat human trafficking.

The A New Start Luncheon proceeds will benefit Santa Maria Hostel, a nonprofit organization with over 50 years of experience, serving women in crisis and continually responding to emerging needs of the recovery community.
