The San Jacinto Museum and Battlefield Association and the Texas Historical Commission will present the San Jacinto Fall Fandango, a celebration of Texas history and culture where visitors can step back into the 1830s.
Guests can immerse themselves in the spirited era of early Texas history, where frontier folks formed tight-knit communities despite the distances between homesteads.
There will be authentic saloon games, period music, and traditional dances that were the lifeblood of community gatherings, like the fandango. Guests can also participate in arts-and-crafts activities and living-history demonstrations.
