The San Jacinto College Central Campus Art Gallery presents "Artifacts of the Delphinus Resonance," a solo exhibition by San Jacinto College Central Campus ceramics professor Christopher St. John. The exhibition considers the ceramic vessel as a conduit for ecological memory, observation, and knowledge beyond the human.
Working across sculpture, drawing, sound, photography and moving image, "Artifacts of the Delphinus Resonance" extends an ongoing investigation through an evolving archive of ceramic forms, field recordings, speculative documents and transmissions that blur the boundaries between scientific inquiry, mythology and material culture.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through October 23.
