Samskriti Society for Indian Performing Arts presents Dashavatar: The 10 Avatars of Lord Vishnu, a dance theater concept with choreography by artistic director Rathna Kumar. Dashavatar, based on ancient Indian mythology, tells the stories of the avatars (incarnations) of Vishnu, which unfold through lively classical and folk dance forms, colorful masks and vibrant costumes.
This spectacular dance theater presentation celebrates Samskriti's 20 years of service to the Houston arts scene.
