This is the first Houston exhibition of photography by artist Beau Comeaux, a native of Baton Rouge who was featured on CultureMap for his presence at the 2010 FotoFest Biennial. His photographs are haunting portraits of industrial landscapes in which scale and form share no relation. The new DARKE gallery opened in May in Rice Military, focussing on younger, emerging Texas artists.

An opening reception for the artist takes place Friday, June 11, from 5-8 p.m. An artist talk is planned for Saturday, June 12 at 2 p.m.

The exhibition continues through July 2.
