Samba Houston presents Brazilian Carnival Parade

Samba Houston, in partnership with the Brazilian Women Foundation and Houston Latin Fest, and the support of the Consulate-General of Brazil in Houston, will host a Brazilian Carnival Parade to celebrate the 200 years of Independence of Brazil. The theme for the 2022 edition will be the city of Houston, and the samba plot Samba Houston in Space City. The parade will be divided into sections called ‘alas’ or wings that represent different aspects of the city, with each wing consisting of approximately 30 members or more wearing the same costume.
