Put the Needle on the Record showcases the geo-minimalist work of Heidi Spector. Musically influenced, Spector's work takes on song lyrics. The palette choices respond to each song, infusing the works with sensations of an audio/visual playlist. Through usage of repetitive vertical/horizontal/diagonal geometrics in liquitex with resin on Russian birch panels, cubes and rhombuses, the viewer is prompted to experience the dance of colors so that he or she may feel, see and hear the musical pulse.
