What started 13 years ago as a small cookoff (featuring mainly chilis) in their old parking lot has evolved into a huge cookoff of creative and eclectic dishes with a happy crowd and the downtown skyline in the background. This event will feature 80 cooking teams ready to serve you their tastiest dish made with Saint Arnold beer. It’s one part chili cookoff, one part stew stampede, one part gumbo gauntlet and ten parts Saint Arnold goodness.
A group of judges will sample all the dishes and award one team the coveted One Pot Trophy. Attendees will get to taste all of the dishes (or as many as they can) and see if they agree with the judges.
Proceeds from this event go to Kids’ Meals, an organization that provides healthy lunches to preschool aged kids living in poverty. It’s like Meals on Wheels, but for kids.
