The Russian Cultural Center “Our Texas” will organize its annual festival, Russian Spring Celebration. This year they will dedicate the event to International Women’s Day, which is traditionally celebrated in March.
Guests will be entertained by lively Gypsy music and dances. The performers will be the Russian Gypsy guitarist, singer and dancer Vadim Kolpakov, and dancers Alla Rada and Anastasia from the Gypsy Dance Theater. Kolpakov's musical repertoire includes 19th-century Russian 7-string guitar repertoire and his own compositions and improvisations on Gypsy, Russian, classical, rap and world music.
