Russian Cultural Center Our Texas presents Satire in Music: Shostakovich and Prokofiev

This event will explore the unserious side of the serious Russian composers. It will feature a presentation by Igor Karash of his illustration series, "In Red and Black," the cantata "Anti-Formalist Rayok" by Dmitri Shostakovich, and five pieces for piano "Sarcasms" by Sergei Prokofiev.

Performers will include Mikhail Smigelski, bass-baritone, Tali Morgulis, piano, and Alisiya Boiko, piano.
