Russian Cultural Center Our Texas presents selected paintings from a private collection of Russian artists of the late 20th century. During the Soviet period there had been a certain number of officially recognized artists who could openly show their artworks; their names are widely known to the public. They worked in the style of Socialist Realism, the only style allowed by the authorities at that time.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display until August 31.
