Alena Gorina and Anya Grokhovski, concert pianists with extensive performing experience, come together to share their love of the piano-duo repertory. Both hold doctoral degrees in piano performance, Gorina from University of Texas at Austin and Grokhovski from the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music in Moscow.

Gorina is a lecturer at Texas State University, San Marcos, and Grokhovski is the artistic director of Musical Bridges Around the World, a nonprofit cultural and educational organization based in San Antonio. Their programing is greatly influenced by their cultural roots as Gorina was born, raised and educated in Belorussia, and Anya in Moscow.
